As I stated a while back created the face hugger from the pattern from LeatherHub. The first time I created the face-hugger from this pattern, It took a while to create and my hands were very sore after cutting ad sewing. Well...... I did it again. This time i was not satisfied with just the basic one, this time I added a massive artistic touch that takes the original up a notch. Well, that's exactly the journey I recently delved into with the Aliens
Face-hugger version 2, where a touch of stamping and texturing elevated the craftsmanship to a whole new level.

The face hugger mask has undoubtedly been the most ambitious and time-consuming project I've undertaken to date. Picture this: hours of knife work dedicated to cutting out a whopping 43 pieces of leather from 8oz (3mm) leather. From selecting the right hues to edging, beveling, and meticulously sewing every component together, every step in the process held a promise of artistic fulfillment.
The coloring phase, came next. Working from lightest to darkest colors, 5 different shades of color were dabbed on, to give a nice gradient coloring.

As I wove through the creative process, a pivotal moment came when I introduced stamping and texturing techniques to the mix. Using a stone backgrounder, I was able to impart a look that really popped the character of the mask, transforming it from a mere mask into a work of wearable art.
